Shiny!
Hoo boy, the missus certainly proved why she's my favourite wife this past week!
On Friday morning, since I had the day off, I booted up my PC to find the background changed to a text block that read "If you can find it, you can have it.X"
It took a while for the thought to shoulder it's way into my seriously hungover consciousness. Then the itch began...soon, cupboards were being emptied, books moved, cushions lifted... it got so bad that the dog wound up retreating to the safety of the overgrown jungle that passes for our backyard whilst I stomped about growling "where the fuck is it!"
Eventually though, I found it :) and immediately got it onto the charger! It's so sexy! Sleek and black and shiny.. it rocks.
Today I watched Serenity on the train to & from work. Screw newspapers!
Tomorrow I'll be watching Samurai Jack :)

Urrgh.I feel nauseous. I just ordered my new PC and paid via Switch. It's a grotesque experience watching your bank balance go *poOoF* with a single click.
I'm bravely fighting off an attack of second thoughts. I'm not used to spending that much money in one shot on anything except the rent :P

Zap
Whooooowee...nice ol' thunderstorm last night. Great big cracking booms of thunder and retina searing bolts of lightning, torrential rain.
Awesome!
I was kind of hoping that the irritating people from 3 doors down would be incinerated by a stray bolt, but as usual the world was deprived of proper justice and they continue to draw breath. Still, it's cloudy again, so there's still hope.
